In Jun 08 Leander was filming a leading role for a feature film called Off We Go Then, it is a 'Carry On' style comedy that starts off in 1969...and finishes off in 2009! He plays a Homeless Man who sneaks along for the ride. It is in post production, and is due for release next year.

In May 08 Leander was performing in 'Chekhov's Farces' at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre, The show is a collection of obscure Chekhov farces and comical short stories.
Most of them have never been translated or performed before. (Young, naughty and sexy Chekhov!)
This production is part of the Lion and Unicorns Chekhov season, presented by the resident theatre company Act Provocateur International. Leander is playing four roles; Khirin a grumpy Russian accountant in The Anniversary. The Director a lecherous, philandering director in Director Under The Sofa.
The Boss a rich Russian, who makes fun of his French man servant in The Foreigner. And Nikita the cockney lumberjack, and second husband of Olga in The Darling.
